Are You Aware?
I used to say: "Life is meant to be lived passionately."
Life is showing me: Human desires, passions, agendas
goals and attachments leave us empty sooner or later.
I am learning:
Life is meant to be appreciated
one precious moment at a time
unedited by another's opinion.
We are totally surrounded and filled with the substance
of Love, the Creator/Creation/Spirit - the Infinite All.
In spite of this, we busy ourselves seeking pleasures,
outside of ourselves, in personalities and things
that will either disappear or let us down.
Appreciation of the "here and now"
is available, totally unlimited , unfailingly forever,
beautiful, alive, vibrant and without boundaries.
At the end of our days, all we bring with us is
who we are - our essence, soul or consciousness.
Everything else is how we chose to waste our lives.
We can continue to suffer, chasing fantasies
and pursuing our addictions, or...
We can invest in a Spiritual Life by creating a consciousness
that grows beautifully through all eternity...
by simply being the Presence of Love ...
right here and right now!
