Hi Folks,
This newsletter is being sent to the friends, family and acquaintances of Todd and Merlyn Puntolillo. This is NOT our spiritual newsletter, just informational to keep in touch.
Most of you, but not all, know that Mom passed away this past summer. Merlyn and I moved in with her for her last 5 weeks here to care for her and share some precious moments. Mom just loved Merlyn and said that she was the best caregiver--ever! We will miss Mom.
Because I had to shut my business down while caring for Mom, we decided not to start it up and then go to see Merlyn's family later in the year and shut it again. So, during the end of summer season we traveled to Asia -- Hong Kong first, and then the Philippines. We included a couple of photos below.

We spent 4 days in Hong Kong and took Merlyn's sister, Jennifer, nick-named Jingle, to Hong Kong Disneyland. On another day, Jingle brought her Filippina friends and we met at a large mall by a park. They were very cute, tiny, funny and silly. We went to see the movie Mamma Mia and we all enjoyed it. Merlyn and her sister almost look like twins.
In the Philippines, they killed a goat in my honor. (Apologies to my vegetarian friends. I asked them if it could be a sweet potato instead, but they insisted on honoring me their way.) I met family members I had never met. Many traveled long distances to see Auntie Day Day (Merlyn) and the new American family member, Kuya Todd -- Kuya means Elder Brother. This name pleases me. I enjoyed all of my new family. The very young ones are soooooo precious!

Learn from Nature
We have a destiny -- and we are that destiny unfolding. It matters not how we fight it, the acorn will be an oak and we will be what we were meant to be. Either we resent it and suffer or surrender to it and blossom. Why do so-called lesser creations do naturally that which many of us fret about year after year? Maybe it is time for us, the imagined dominators of our planet, to recognize the Power Within us and all life.
